Dr Lynch is currently involved in establishing a clinical and research centre named the Centre for Regenerative Dermatology. This will be based in Central London and the goals of the centre are excellence in clinical treatments to regenerate damaged skin, conducting groundbreaking research, and fostering a learning environment that empowers both patients and clinicians.
Clinical treatments will include:-
- Cell-based therapies: Utilizing skin cells to regenerate damaged skin tissue, reduce scarring and treat disorders of pigmentation.
- Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy: Leveraging the growth factors in a patient's own blood to rejuvenate the skin, stimulate collagen production, and treat conditions such as alopecia, acne scars, and age-related skin changes.
- Laser and energy-Based Therapies: Employing laser and energy treatments to target specific skin issues, from reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to treating pigmentation disorders, vascular lesions, and promoting skin rejuvenation.
- Advanced injectables including dermal fillers and polynucleotides
Research interests include:-
- Tissue Engineering: Developing and using bioengineered skin and tissues for reconstructive purposes, including the treatment of burns, extensive wounds, or congenital skin conditions.
- Gene Therapy: Investigating genetic interventions to regenerate damaged, scarred and aged skin.
- Novel cell and stem-cell based therapies.
