Presents as a photosensitive malar rash sparing the nasolabial folds and is associated with systemic symptoms and positive autoantibodies.

Causes skin changes (erythema, atrophy, telangiectasias) strictly confined to the radiation port or field.
Presents with papules, pustules, erythema, and telangiectasias without a history of topical steroid application, and typically lacks the atrophy seen with steroid overuse.
