Chronic urticaria

Dermatographism is a subtype of physical urticaria, where wheals are induced by stroking the skin, whereas spontaneous chronic urticaria involves wheals appearing without a direct physical trigger.

Pressure urticaria

This form is distinguished by the appearance of deep, often painful swelling that is delayed by several hours after sustained pressure, unlike the immediate linear wheal of dermatographism.
